RAF Typhoons scrambled twice in ONE DAY to intercept Russian fighter jets near Estonia RAF Typhoons were scrambled twice in one day to intercept Russian fighter jets near Estonia. Fighters stationed at Amari Air Base, around 20miles outside Tallinn, were scrambled Tuesday to intercept Putin's AN-12 transport over Estonian airspace.
